In the context of NBCUniversal´s 2019 Upfront, the actress Kate del Castillo, star of La Reina del Sur, was in charge of Telemundo´s presentation in the New York Radio City Music Hall.

“I am pleased to be here representing Telemundo and the most rapidly growing population in the US, Hispanics. There are more than 60 million, and our purchase power is now the seventh GDP in the world. Today the Latina culture belongs to everyone: from food to music, from sports to cinema, the world is full of Latina influence. But, even though we are everywhere, you cannot reach us anywhere. In general, US Hispanics only watch TV in Spanish and are watching Telemundo. Just NBCU, with its secret sauce, its symphony, can cater better to this influential audience, including bilinguals who move across platforms and languages. Telemundo is known for original premium content like La Reina del Sur season two, that is currently the preferred show in the US, my show, and our newest drama, No te Puedes Esconder (10×60′), it is not the exception,” commented del Castillo.

Additionally, the superstar and voice coach, Luis Fonsi, presented a special compilation of successful Latina songs, including his hit Despacito.
