Gabriela Figueroa, Consumer Products director at Viacom CBS Networks Americas, assured in the ViacomCBS 2021 Upfront that they are putting the strength of their ecosystem behind IP and the global strategy is to have content and properties for all ages and in all the stores worldwide.
Brands such as MTV, South Park, classical films from Paramount Network such as The Godfather, Clueless, Mean Girls, Top Gun stand out in the portfolio, in addition to Star Trek, but it also includes digital stars like Bala and local productions including Club 57, along with their iconic properties: Sponge Bob, Garfield, The Smurfs, and Rugrats.
“As our main focus, we seek to drive our preschool properties, as is the case of Paw Patrol, where we will maximize the launch of the new film in cinemas”. Lastly, she mentioned the arrival of Hotel Nick to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, opening in the second quarter of 2021.
