SOMOS Films: We entered in the production of romantic comedy with Ananas Producciones with the film La Chica del Alquiler en Venezuela

SOMOS Films and Ananas Producciones C.A., will co-produce in Venezuela the romantic comedy film La Chica del Alquiler, starring Daniela Alvarado (Valeria) and Agustín Segnini (Sebastian), who is also the producer.

The main cast includes Patricia Schwarzgruber (Lorena), and Luis Olavarrieta (Tomás).

La Chica del Alquiler will be directed by the veteran Carlos Caridad, who has directed films like 3 Bellezas, a black comedy from 2015, winner of 20 international awards.

The film has a first-class casting that is akin to comedy, with nice chemistry among themselves and a very well-developed script. The partnership with Ananas Producciones, with whom we hope to enter in many other projects, strengthens the production a great deal in a country that has special advantages regarding talent and ease of production. In La Chica del Alquiler, Daniela Alvarado plays the role of Valeria, in charge of the house where Sebastian (Agustin Segnini) planned to spend his honeymoon with Lorena (Patricia Schwarzgruber). When Sebastian thought he had found the love of his life he is suddenly abandoned by Lorena at the altar, but he doesn’t give up and decides to find and recover her no matter what. In the midst of his desperate search, he arrives at the house they rented for their honeymoon and meets Valeria, who is moved by his situation and tries to help him win Lorena back. The plot unfolds in attractive locations.
