Telemundo Media names Rubén Keoseyan VP of Content of Telemundo Los Angeles KVEA

Rubén Keoseyan has been named VP of Content for Telemundo Los Angeles KVEA, and will report to Celia Chávez, president and general manager. Keoseyan will be responsible for leading KVEA’s news department toward solidifying its competitive edge within the market by assuring the gathering and dissemination of high quality news through all platforms. He will also work to ensure that all local newscasts reflect and serve the needs of the Hispanic community in the area. “Rubén is a recognized leader with solid journalistic integrity, extensive experience in the Los Angeles market and expertise in Spanish-language media overall” Chávez said. “His leadership and insights will play a significant role in contributing to the ongoing success of KVEA’s news department”.Before taking on this role, Keoseyan served as executive editor of La Opinión, the largest Spanish-language newspaper in the United States. He also spent some time with La Raza in Chicago prior to that.The executive has received multiple leadership and journalism awards and has traveled both domestically and internationally as a panelist and expert in editorial practices and integrity.
