Televisa: With CJ Grand Shopping we reach 11 million homes in Mexico

CJ Grand Shopping is the new channel that Televisa brings to Mexico, provided by the Korean leader in TV sales: CJ Group, available through its cable systems Sky, Izzi and Megacable. Francisco Ortiz, coordinator of the channel, mentioned that they reach 11 million homes, currently have 29 products and for 2016 will start live programming, amounting 17 hours of live programming and seven recorded. “This is a possibility to reach consumers directly through a TV sales mechanism. We spotted a very important Korean group called CJ Group to generate an entertainment channel on which you can make purchases, and we want to stand out from infomercials. We have 29 products that are already produced, and will soon use celebrities to promote articles, and will launch other products with artists such as Sofía Vergara,” he explained.He highlighted that although Mexico is the launching country, afterwards they expect to cover other regions. “We also have an application for Android and iTunes, as well as an Internet platform and will soon launch a strong communication campaign to boost the signal. In 2016 we will start with live programming and will reach 17 hours live and seven recorded”, he concluded.
