TelevisaUnivision: New season of ¿Quién Es La Máscara? is a combination of music and comedy

TelevisaUnivision premiered the new season of the show ¿Quién Es La Máscara?, produced with EndemolShine Boomdog. The series is directed by Omar Chaparro and produced by Miguel Ángel Fox, who highlighted that this edition will have a balance between music and comedy, and who said that they are expecting that it will be the best visually and in rating.

“There is a lot of work behind each segment, each character, on stage and in musicals. Despite being a format with a predictable structure, we are committed to having 50% music and 50% comedy. We managed to stand out in the face of intense competition between television stations and platforms. It is a high-quality format that this year will be special,” said Fox.

With ten episodes, the show will include new dynamics aiming to surprise people: “Among these, we will have a villain who is not in the competition, who wants to end the show and participates in the game of discovering the characters. The star of this season is focusing on making it a comedy show, that the characters were well developed, and that the content was very attractive.”

¿Quién Es La Máscara? will include 18 national and international celebrities under the masks of Alebrije, Alfiletero, Bot, Bunch, Cactus, Cornelio, Dálmata, Elvestruz, Escoba, Geisha, Graffiti, Huacal, Jinete, Kit Bengal, Koaláctico, Pulpo, Rey Egipcio and Triki.

The research panel will be made up of Yuri, Carlos Rivera, Juanpa Zurita and Galileo Montijo.
