Univision Deportes state-of-the-art studio for 2014 World Cup coverage was pre-built in Colombia

The Univision Deportes studio, created for the coverage of the 2014 World Cup and located inside the International Broadcast Center (IBC) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, houses four sets for the different Univisión Deportes shows: Fútbol Central, Fútbol Club, República Mundialista and República Deportiva.The studio has a total area of over 1,600 square feet. It has a 360-degree view studio. Its multifunctional, modular construction was pre-built and pre-lit in Colombia. It has moving pieces with a rolling centerpiece. It was transported to Rio in three containers and later assembled at the Univisión Deportes complex inside the IBC.After the World Cup, the studio will be disassembled and moved to Miami.Some of its advanced technological features include a touch screen display, two video walls (from six to 12 monitors), Augmented Reality, over 30 additional displays, and LED lighting for color flexibility and customization.
