Univision News launches an English-language section within its digital platform

A new English-language section has been launched by Univision News in its digital platform UnivisionNoticias.com. It is titled “Univision News” and takes the original content from the network to an English speaking audience but always with a Latino perspective.Featuring everything from politics, business, health, education and immigration to the environment, sports, culture and expanded coverage of Latin America, “Univision News” now brings the news not just to the Hispanic America, but to millions of digital users too, who also consume news in English, many of which are second or third generation Latinos.Apart from the domestic and international news coverage, the section will follow events in Latin America and feature extensive coverage of the issues that matter most to the US Hispanic community. The “Univision News” section of UnivisionNoticias.com is headed by British journalist David C. Adams, winner of prestigious journalistic awards including the Maria Moors Cabot Prize from Columbia University. Prior to joining Univision, he was the Miami bureau chief for the Reuters news agency.
