The 10th annual edition of the Premios Juventud youth awards show, which showcased an array of performances including an opening by Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull, helped Univision rank as the No. 1 broadcast network among Adults 18-49 on July 18th night, and for the sixth consecutive year among Adults 18-34 and Persons 12-34. In the July sweep-to-date, Univision is beating all broadcast and cable networks among Adults 18-49 and 18-34 in primetime. The three-hour broadcast reached nearly 10 million Total Viewers 2+ who tuned in to all or part of the live event, with an average audience of nearly 5 million viewers, making Univision the No. 2 network in that demo, ahead of ABC, NBC and FOX. This year’s Premios Juventud also attracted more U.S. Hispanic viewers in the demographic groups of Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Persons 12-34 than the combined audience of the latest editions of the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and Golden Globe Awards.
