For Luis Medina, president of Uno Productions, the Company Es Televisión, created and headed by Soraya Sánchez, is a very attractive option for the production of content for TV, after the ease the government of Puerto Rico offers with the Ley de Incentivos Económicos para la Industria Fílmica (Puerto Rico Film Industry Economic. Incentives Act)."This is a tool that the government of Puerto Rico is handing out to the industry so that production companies in Hollywood and the international TV industry consider this country as a base for audiovisual production. It is about the Law that will allow an important reduction of production costs, explained Medina.Medina also highlights that the company that Sánchez directs is broadly known in the industry for its quality. Es Televisión has given life to projects such as: Yo Canto, Objetivo Fama, Así es Gilberto Gless, Premios Tu Música, Juntos y Revueltos and Dando Candela, just to mention a few of many programs they have produced. Due to these advantages, Soraya and Es Televisión have produced for Univisión, UniMás, América TV and other companies in the industry, commented the executive. The projects that benefit from the incentives are the ones aimed at the production of videogames, feature films, short films, documentaries, TV programs, series, miniseries, musical videos, national and international commercials, live recorded acting and recording of original sound, as well as copies.
