Nancy Hill will be stepping down from the leadership of 4A’s in 2017

The American Association of Advertising Agencies announced on Wednesday July 6th that Nancy Hill, President and CEO of the organization will be stepping down from her position in 2017. The association´s Board of Directors has begun a search for a successor to carry out the transition by June 2017.By the time she steps down, Hill will have served in her role for nine years, modernizing the 4A´s operations, providing guidance to the creative agency community on transformative issues and passionately advocating for gender and diversity initiatives throughout the industry.”Nancy has incredible passion for the advertising industry. During the past eight years, she has advocated tirelessly for issues -such as gender and diversity- that continue to make the industry better” pointed out Bill Koenigsberg, Presidente, CEO and founder of Horizon Media and head of the 4A’s Board of Directors. “Nancy joined with five years of service in mind, but this last March the board again asked her to stay on, extending her contract through June 2017.””The past eight years have been the experience of a lifetime,” expressed Hill. “It has been an honor to play a part in shaping the future of an industry I love.” Hill is a veteran of advertising agencies across the US. She has worked with Doner, TBWAChiatDay, Goldberg Moser O’Neill and BBDO. After her departure from the 4A’s she will focus on consulting and will spend time in Ecuador volunteering and teaching.
