PRODU officially kicked off the second annual Latino US Day at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, an event dedicated to celebrating and amplifying the significant impact and leadership of the U.S. Latino community across the marketing, media, and creative industries.
Mara Fernández, Chief Transformation Officer of PRODU, and General Director of FIAP, welcomed attendees, emphasizing the initiative’s powerful evolution. “What started as a bold, necessary idea has now become a growing, global platform — one where we come together to celebrate the impact and leadership of the U.S. Latino community in marketing, media, and creativity,” she stated.
Fernández underscored the day’s core objectives: “Today is about more than visibility — it’s about voice, value, and vision. The U.S. Latino audience is shaping the future of culture and commerce, and we’re here to own that space, with pride and purpose.”
PRODU extended its deepest gratitude to its main sponsor, Adsmovil, The Hispanic Mobile Ad Network, acknowledging their vital leadership and aid in making the day possible.
Special thanks were also given to supporting sponsors for their commitment to innovation and creative excellence: Procter & Gamble (P&G), Heineken, Nueva Network, and HPRA. “Your support fuels the energy and ambition behind this day,” Fernández added.
The success of Latino US Day is also a testament to strong strategic partnerships. PRODU recognized Advertising Week LATAM, the Alliance for Inclusive Multicultural Marketing (AIMM), the Hispanic Marketing Council (HMC), Círculo Creativo USA, and Talkability, emphasizing that “this collaboration is proof that together, we go further.”
Fernández concluded by thanking all attendees for their presence, urging them to “engage, inspire, and continue building a future where Latino leads. ¡Gracias por estar aquí! ¡Que comience Latino US Day!”
Latino US Day promises a day of insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and a powerful showcase of the U.S. Latino community’s growing influence in the global creative landscape.
