Director Luis Mandoki: With México Tiene Chiste we are conceiving a new multiplatform format

México Tiene Chiste is the filmmaker Luis Mandoki’s new production and the first multiplatform project in his career, assuring that this genre is in constant growth in this country and that is why through a digital casting they are looking for Mexican talent from any part of the country.
“The idea came up to make a spontaneous comedy with characters we don’t know, that can come from any part of the republic and that have the wit and the need to share their talent, making those who listen to them laugh,” expressed Mandoki.
The director of films such as Voces Inocentes announced that after the casting they would choose three or four characters who will star in the first episode and pilot, that will be offered to open and pay TV networks, as well as digital platforms that want to air it.
The casting is conducted through the official site mexicotienechiste.com, while the production will be in Mexico City and other states of the Mexican Republic.
