Bruno Zurlo of Disney: Star+ was designed to make it easier to find which sport events are being broadcast

Bruno Zurlo, Head of Sports for the Star+ service, spoke about the platform’s wide sports offering with programs for soccer, cycling, rugby, mixed martial arts, basketball, tennis, and more. Emphasizing that it will be ESPN’s debut into the world of streaming.
” This sets us apart from any rival. We are certain that we are going to penetrate strongly in the region, with sport being a fundamental addition to our offer,” he said.
As for soccer, he pointed out that Star+ will allow seeing tournaments such as the Champions League, Copa Libertadores, Europa League, LaLiga in Spain, the Premier League in England, Ligue 1 in France and Serie A in Italy, as well as the best tournaments for American sports fans including NBA, NFL, NHL, Tour de France games, Australia Open, The Masters, PGA Tour, Bellator MMA and many more.
Zurlo highlighted that the platform is designed to make it easier to find what sporting events are taking place at the moment and that there is an option that allows the user to rewind their favorite moments during an ongoing game to review any play or goal.
