DistroScale's Navdeep Saini: Offer of FAST DistroTV Español’s channels is launching its first original film

The FAST channel platform DistroTV was launched in the US in 2019 and DistroTV Español was introduced last December in Latin America with more than 20 channels in Spanish.

Next Friday 25th, DistroTV in Spanish, will premiere its first original film, Escándalo Secreto: En plena Cuarentena. The movie was directed and written by Jorge Cano, starring Alejandro Gutiérrez, Danny Trejo, Ninel Conde, Lina Castrillón, Platanito, Nanis Ochoa, Armando Hernández, Lorena Herrera, Reykon, Margarita Reyes, Alexander Ospina, Valentina Lizcano, Nitzia Chama, Ricardo Hill, Isabella Santiago and Pancho Moler.

Navdeep Saini, co-founder, and CEO of DistroScale, the parent company of DistroTV, focuses on serving all audiences and one of the company's strategies is to promote the work of independent creators like Cano. There will be more releases of this type within DistroTV Español in the future, he announced.

More than 20 channels they have in Latin America cover genres such as news, movies, entertainment, and music. The package of channels that they have within their offering includes some from third parties and others self-designed.

“We work with large media companies to offer them linear channels 24/7. For example, we are in talks with Wapp TV from Chile to launch a lifestyle channel on the platform” he highlighted.

They are represented in advertising sales in the US, Canada, and Latin America by Stitch. He recalled that DistroScale has been on the market for 10 years.

“We are in talks with all the media. FAST is going to be the new way to connect with consumers. From medium to large companies they will have their own streaming presence. I am a big believer that there are two types of consumers of streaming content: those who want a hassle-free experience, where content reaches them without having to search for it, and users who are looking for specific content. We must attend to both. We have a lot of confidence in the Latin American market”, he concluded.
