SOMOS Distribution: With a broad offer for linear TV and new platforms at LA Screenings

In the context of the LA Screenings, SOMOS Distribution will announce two new productions to be developed with important industry players.
“Our offer for this market combines contents for the new platforms and for traditional linear TV. Currently, it is important to maintain a broad offer for all the audiences and opinions," expressed Francisco Villanueva, VP and COO of the company.
They titles that will be present in the market include San Juan Diego, La Historia de la Virgen de Guadalupe (by Somos Productions and Endemol Shine Boomdog), and Cazadores de Milagros (Somos Productions, Disney Latin America, Mediapro and BTF Media). Additionally, the bioseries Súbete a Mi Moto: La Historia de Menudo Contada Según su Creador (Somos Productions, Endemol Shine Boomdog and Piñolywood Studios).
“We also have Turkish dramas for different audiences and schedule blocks. This offer includes Lady’s Farm, Fallen Apart and Wildrose” mentioned Villanueva. They will also present the Venezuelan films Muerte en Berruecos, that tells the story of the murder of General Antonio José de Sucre, and Memorias de un Soldado.
He mentioned that they are paying a great deal of attention to digital platforms. "Production budgets for properties and for the license of contents are very high in these times of construction of differentiation in terms of first windows and exclusiveness between digital platforms with international reach. The competition between platforms and traditional clients is a stimulus, both for production and for high-quality content distribution and we focus our search also to satisfy those needs," he explained.
