On Spanish-speaking platforms in the US and Mexico, there has been a war to win over audiences, so we’re seeing innovation in their content and even in their different outlets, such as the nascent ViX+.
In all this battle, talent has not lagged, so we see talents like Araceli Arámbula, star of the Telemundo series, is now starring in a telenovela on TelevisaUnivision, La Madrastra. The next case could be the Mexican actress, Galilea Montijo, whose contract with TelevisaUnivision is about to expire and, it seems, she is already being sought by streaming platforms’ content producers to offer her projects in which she could be interested once after her agreement ends.
The war for Latino audiences is raging and is also being waged in the field of talent.
