Univision: DISH customers could also lose access to Univision Deportes Network

Univision warned DISH customers that they may soon lose access to Univision Deportes Network (UDN), the main destination for soccer fans in the US.
The in Spanish media company activated its network of radio stations to spread the word, as well as sending messages on digital platforms and social networks.
For almost four months, DISH stopped distributing Univisión, UniMás, and Galavisión in its satellite service. So, Univision underlines certain key points if UDN also comes out: In 2017, Univision Deportes Network ranked second among the most tuned sports chains in DISH, regardless language, according to Nielsen. Likewise, DISH clients have already lost access to several soccer matches at Univisión, UniMás, and Galavisión since DISH began the interruption on June 30. If DISH stops distributing UDN, their customers will be unable to watch any of the 1,100 live games that Univision Deportes offers per year. Liga MX fans will lose access to almost every game in the league, as well as the games of the National Team of Mexico and the USA, the UEFA Champions League, MLS, and Bundesliga, as well as events such as Gold Cup.
Univisión informs DISH customers that if they wish to continue having access to UDN and recover access to Univisión, UniMás and Galavisión can call T + 1-800-500-4252.
