Univision: We are open to doing business

We don’t take our 60-year relationship with the audience for granted. We are leading with data and passion to cater to our community,” expressed Jessica Rodríguez, president of Entertainment and CMO of the company in the context of the second day of NATPE Miami Virtual.

Rodríguez, who had a talk with Neil Shah, managing partner and Executive VP of Known, highlighted that Univision takes its audience’s core values and mentality to design programming that connects with it. “Values continue to be relevant: collectivism, pride and culture, the duality of being Latino and American, and nostalgia,” expressed Rodríguez.

He also made reference to the new AVOD service Prende TV that will be launched in the first quarter of this year. He highlighted that a poll conducted among potential consumers of the service revealed that 90% are excited about an AVOD service in Spanish, and a high percentage expressed they would use it.
