During NATPE 2020 Viacom International Studios (VIS) will present new content and alliances. This year, studios were very active with agreements such as the ones consolidated with Amazon, Claro video, Cablevisión, and Netflix as well as the agreement with Juan José Campanella, to mention a few.
“2019 was a very successful year, taking into account all the challenges we have in the market, not only political and economical, we continue growing strong with our brands," expressed JC Acosta, president of ViacomCBS Networks Americas, a position he will assume on January 3, 2020.
He recalled that starting April 30, 2020, the first VidCon will be launched in Latin America in Mexico City. “We are very excited. this event has been extremely successful in the US, where it has existed for 10 years. Just last year, it received 75 thousand attendees,” he said. The event is already sponsored by Telcel and Coca-Cola.
He also mentioned that at the start of next year the OTT platform Pluto TV will be launched in Latin America.
