Launched in January 2022, the Spanish-language television network Visión Latina Network, focused on the Hispanic market, is already available in 42 states in the US. They consider themselves as a family channel, with values and varied programming.

“It is a channel for our Latino people, we have entertainment in the mornings, news segments during the day, a big newscast at night, programming featuring famous people and celebrities at night, sports, children, and series,” explained to PRODU, Marcio Oliveira, director of General Programming, Visión Latina Network.

One of the network bets is the Brazilian series Génesis, 248 episodes, produced by Record TV and written by Camilo Pellegrini, Raphaela Castro, and Stephanie Ribeiro. It will be released in the US on Monday, April 3, in primetime at 9pm. On Monday the 27th a 500-guest face-to-face premiere will take place at the Writers Guild Theater in Los Angeles, and soon it will have another premiere open to the public.

Visión Latina Network has already broadcast other Brazilian productions such as Los 10 Mandamientos; Moisés; El Rico y Lázaro; and Jesús.

“In Los Angeles, we have ten hours of live programming,” produced by themselves, according to Oliveira. Although they have some religious placements, 95% of all their programming throughout the United States is secular.

INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE
Visión Latina Network is also available in other countries such as Mexico, Panama, and Puerto Rico. They are also in Canada with three multilingual channels (English, Portuguese, and Spanish). The channel is assembled in each country and most of the programming is sent from Los Angeles, including the series in Spanish.

EXPANSION
Visión Latina Network launched in seven states in 2022, and now it’s in 42. The network’s goal is to continue growing, to engage in production perhaps in the future, and market their spaces. This year, in January, they also launched Visión Latina Radio FM 96.7 Los Angeles. “We have also grown a lot in the audience.”

Oliveira added that they want to work together with their radio stations. “Our vision is to have a radio station in each place that we have the TV channel.” Plus the digital part of the web is social networks. “Make all media work together” even radio and television connected live.
