Richar Attenborough Dinasty
One of the areas in which BBC is most outstanding is natural history and this BBC Showcase was not the exception.
Mike Gunton, executive producer and creative director of the Natural History unit, presented the big launches for this year, which included Serengeti and Dynasty, two ambitious projects that delve into the animal world in an entirely innovative way.
Although each one is different, because they cover relations between animals in distinct ways, they both manage to catch viewers’ attention because of their great production quality and because they imprint an unprecedented dramatic thread upon them.
Additionally, they both have a great production team behind them: Serengeti is produced by Simon Fuller (creator of entertainment formats such as Idol) and the experienced John Downer; and Dynasty by Gunton himself, Rupert Barrington and the prestigious Sir David Attenborough.
Gunton also presented the program: Big Cats, that covers all the variety of cats that exist; Attenborough & The Sea Dragon; Reeinder Family & Me, Rituales and Deadly Dinosaurs, among others.
