RCN premiered this past July 14th at 8pm the third season of El Capo (70×60′). The FOXTelecolombia production has scripts by Gustavo Bolívar and was directed by Lilo Vilaplana and Mónica Botero. Amparo López was the General Producer and Nelson Martínez the Executive Producer.Our country doesnt have a tradition of producing series by seasons, but due to the success of the first part of El Capo in Colombia and abroad, we decided to produce a second season and later a third one. All throughout the character undergoes a transformation, although he maintains the personality traits that make him attractive to the audience, said Gustavo Bolívar, the series creator and scriptwriter.This season features 70 episodes shot on cinematic format on locations in Colombia, Mexico and U.S. (more specifically in New York). Emblematic places of the worlds capital such as Metro, Manhattan Bridge, Times Square, China Town, Fort Greene Park, Gantry Park and some of the most popular streets were shot to build the story.The cast continues to be led by Marlon Moreno, who will resume his role as Pedro Pablo León Jaramillo el Capo. He is joined by Cristina Umaña as Bruna and Óscar Borda as Tato, as well as Juan Alfonso Baptista (el Gato), Michelle Manterola and Poncho Herrera.
