Estrella MediaCo Emerges as the Leading FAST Destination for U.S. Hispanic Audiences

MediaCo Operations LLC announced record-breaking digital performance across its portfolio, driven by the explosive growth of its flagship Estrella MediaCo FAST channels, and social platforms.

FAST & CTV

Monthly digital uniques grew 19% year-over-year, with total minutes consumed now exceeding 310 Million minutes per month on its O&O FAST channels, marking a new high for the company’s digital and streaming footprint. Monetized premium CTV video ad inventory has grown 290% in the first five months of 2025 compared to the same time period last year making MediaCo a leader in Hispanic CTV advertising.

Also, according to the Amagi/Ampere FAST Channel Analytics report in Q4 2024, EstrellaTV and Estrella News were the #1 mixed IP distributed FAST channels in the marketplace for the Latino category.

MediaCo, a prominent player in the audio streaming space, has achieved a significant milestone. Ranked 11th overall in the United States, MediaCo’s success can be attributed to its flagship stations, including Hot 97, WBLS, Que Buena Los Angeles, and morning shows such as Ebro in the Morning and Don Cheto Al Aire.

The Estrella Media YouTube Network led the charge, posting impressive year-over-year gains from Q1–Q2 2024 to Q1–Q2 2025, including:

•+35% increase in video views

•+7.4% increase in total watch time

•1 million new subscribers added

Breakout channel Don Cheto Al Aire saw a 300% surge in views and a 200% increase in impressions over the April–May period, while fan-favorite talent competition Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento expanded its total digital reach by 42%.

On Hot 97 YouTube channels, watchstream hours increased 652% and subscribers increased 11% in 2025 so far and the video success led to the announcement of a new Hot 97 TV FAST channel at MediaCo’s recent IAB Newfront presentation.

Instagram:

•EstrellaTV saw a 19.1% increase in reach, with 85.9% of that coming from non-followers, indicating strong organic discovery.

•Profile visits rose 36.2%, totaling 26,336.

•Noticias EstrellaTV posted a 73.6% jump in reach and a 34.8% increase in profile visits, reaching 3,367.

Facebook:

•Noticias EstrellaTV increased reach by 41%, from 22.9M to 32.3M year-over-year.

•Hot 97, a MediaCo flagship brand, saw one of the most dramatic growth stories with reach skyrocketing from 11.6M (April–May 2024) to 82M during the same period in 2025.
