The new series Origins: The Journey of Humankind (8×60’) will premiere on Nat Geo on Monday, March 6 at 9pm.
The series, which is hosted by futurist Jason Silva, celebrates the story of how man became modern through a full-sensory, time-travel adventure that delves deep into the history to find the pivotal ‘origin’ moments that fueled our evolutionary ascension.
Origins: The Journey of Humankind is part scripted with dramatic sequences and part docu; and combines global expert commentary and musical symphonies from John Boswell, known widely on the Internet as Melodysheep.
Fire, the premiere episode, irrevocably changed the way we lived, also explored are medicine, war, money, communication, transportation, exploration and shelter.
