Nunchaku presents Champion, first production for Dieste and its client Goya

21 de enero de 2014

Nunchaku, the production company with studios in Los Angeles and Buenos Aires, showed PRODU its commercial Champion that it made for Dieste and its client Goya. The commercial was shot in Spain and directed by Nico Kasakoff.Since it was Dieste’s very first campaign for Goya, Kasakoff worked in close collaboration with the agency’s creative team to create some unique storytelling. He also took special care with the casting, making sure the female talent didn’t have to make an effort to look maternal, and that the children didn’t look like they were acting – they just had to be very natural little kids.“It was enriching to work with Ciro again and with the Dieste team. That undoubtedly inspired us to strive for the highest quality, and we had the luck to have the collaboration of a creative team that made the campaign even better, since we worked as a team” Kasakoff said.“Unity, determination, hard work and passion were our formula, and when there’s great teamwork, wonderful things can be achieved, like this beautiful Goya campaign” said Leda Nasio, executive producer at Nunchaku.Though the production company had worked with Dieste’s Executive Creative Director Ciro Sarmiento before, this shoot was the first time that Nunchaku ever worked for Dieste. “This was the first campaign we created for our client Goya and we needed to aim for the very highest standards, and we knew that Nico and Nunchaku were the perfect complement,” Sarmiento said. “Nico is the kind of director who can entertain viewers with convincing stories and fascinating characters, the kind of person who enriches the creative process. We feel very proud of the final product”.
