Sabbatical Entertainment announced the launch of its exclusive Sabbatical Sports channel and new original documentary Draw

Sabbatical Entertainment introduces new, exclusive, premium content produced to celebrate the World Cup Russia 2018.

After commercializing their soccer vignettes and specials with prominent clients such as the Sinclair, Claro and Telefónica groups, in Europe and North America, as well as platforms in Mexico and Asia, Sabbatical Entertainment has created a specialized channel for all soccer fans, on video hosting service sites.

On the sports channel, fans can enjoy the multiple original short-form collections, including: Unforgettable, Icon. The Player, Teamwork, Better Half, Postcards and the special programs made with these series on the respective groups that will compete in the Cup: The Pitch and Counterattack.

“Sports are the only true real-life dramas without preset scripts, or pre-production. And as such, there is nothing more exciting. We are thrilled to be able to be a part of this phenomenon and bring the excitement to viewers,” said Miguel Somoza, CEO of Sabbatical Entertainment.

The company is also proud to announce that its original documentary, Draw, will premiere in July, on CNN in Spanish in Latin America and US Hispanic.

The documentary is a hybrid between a bio doc and a sports program, in which two of the most outstanding players of all time, – one past, and one present, are featured, and compared, from each of the following countries: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. Pelé and Neymar, Maradona and Messi, Valderrama and James, Chicharito and Hugo Sánchez play an imaginary game where clocks and borders disappear.
