Doris Martínez, owner and founder of Latino Circuit TV: "One of LatinoCircuit TV’s first partners was Spanglish Movies"

After years of working as an executive at HBO, DIRECTV, and other companies, Doris Martínez has launched her own FAST channel, LatinoCircuit TV, catering to Hispanic audiences with content in both Spanish and English.

LatinoCircuit TV, which has been operating for just five months, is supported by Spanglish Movies for distribution and already boasts a growing catalog of 200 hours of content.

“We are bilingual Latinos—English and Spanish—we consume all kinds of content, including some that aren’t necessarily commercial. I wanted to launch a FAST channel with that kind of content. Unlike niche platforms, we offer Latin American and U.S. films, series, and documentaries. Soon, we’ll also have music-related titles and short films,” Martínez, owner and founder of Latino Circuit TV, told PRODU.

The channel also features a weekly current affairs podcast with Mike León, Can We Please Talk?, and a stand-up comedy show, Más Loco (Fridays).

Latino Circuit TV’s content includes Combat Sports (Boxlab and Kombat Taekwondo fights on Saturdays); series like La Redonda, Infierno en la Torre Negra, and La Maria; magazines and talk shows such as Can We Please Talk?, El Flash Latino, Qué Pasa with Carlos Medina, Nueva York, LaTINAS, and Shades of Us.

“The partnership between Spanglish Movies, Doris, and LatinoCircuit TV is crucial to amplifying the voices of small Latino businesses. Together, we are creating a powerful platform to showcase their stories, products, and services, fostering community growth and engagement,” said Gustavo Aparicio, CEO of Spanglish Movies.

“One of LatinoCircuit TV’s first partners was Spanglish Movies. Thanks to them, we have a catalog of Caribbean cinema (from the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico) included in the platform,” Martínez noted.

She added that half of the content is subtitled in either English or Spanish, depending on the original language, aiming to reach bilingual audiences in the U.S., Latin America, and Spain.

Currently, LatinoCircuit TV is available on platforms such as FLOUtv by Spanglish Movies, TVZion, wedotv, Freebie TV, TCL Channel, and WISP TV (ISP). Negotiations are underway with Freecast and Tiviup (Spain), and discussions are ongoing with Roku, Samsung TV Plus, and Olympusat’s FreeTV.
