Modo Millonaria is a 25-episode romantic comedy told in two-minute vertical chapters
VIP 2000 TV has announced the launch of its new vertical series Modo Millonaria on the fast storytelling platform ReelShort.
Modo Millonaria is a 25-episode romantic comedy told in two-minute vertical chapters, designed for an audience hungry for heartwarming, escapist entertainment.
The series follows Isabella, a humble hotel waitress who is mistaken for a millionaire—and decides to play along.
“After producing over 400 hours of original content around the world, we knew it was time to return to Miami. Launching our vertical series hub in this city made perfect sense. We brought together an incredible team of VIP collaborators who had already worked with us. Modo Millonaria marks the beginning of a new genre for our company, while reaffirming our roots in Miami,” said Roxana Rotundo, CEO of VIP 2000 TV.

The series features a cast of high-profile Latin American talents and digital influencers: Yuvanna Montalvo (4.6M followers), Juan Carlos García (2.4M), Beta Mejía (8M), and Alejandra Jaramillo (4.2M), collectively reaching more than 19 million followers on social media.
Filmed entirely in Miami, Modo Millonaria uses the scenery and energy of South Florida to frame a glamorous, intense story full of secrets, identity, and transformation.
The series is directed by showrunner Mayu Muci, known for her work on Netflix’s Go! Live Your Way, and Venezuelan actor Ricardo Álamo, who rose to fame in the leading role of Juana la Virgen. Their combined experience both in front of and behind the camera adds depth and storytelling power to Modo Millonaria.
The production team also includes Nicolás Di Blasi, who joins the leadership team as co-director, along with César Sierra, head writer and art director.
Since its premiere on ReelShort, Modo Millonaria has already surpassed 2 million views, showing a strong initial connection with audiences and a clear appetite for short-form stories with telenovela DNA.
In July, VIP 2000 TV completed production on its second vertical series, which will be announced soon, and will continue investing in this format through the end of the year.
This bold entry into vertical storytelling joins a string of major international hits from the company, including:
-Kuma, the Other Wife – a 100-episode Turkish telenovela that became a digital phenomenon with over 250 million views.
–Valentina, My Special Love – the first co-production between India, the U.S., and Latin America, featuring a lead character on the autism spectrum.
-Over 22 TV movies produced for Lifetime, plus 10 Christmas films, solidifying VIP 2000 TV’s presence in the North American market.
“Miami is our home. What better place to produce than a city with all the cultural variety needed to turn any story into an international hit?” said Rosalind Rotundo, VP of VIP 2000 TV.
