Ana Barreto, recently appointed executive VP and Country Manager at FOXTelecolombia, will lead all the company´s operation reporting to Samuel Duque son, who is now based in Mexico.
Currently, FOXTelecolombia has a space of over 23 thousand square feet with more than 9 studios.
“The main challenge is the industry itself, everything is constantly changing, production is increasingly demanding and budgets are harder and harder to obtain. Additionally, competition is huge,” commented Ana.
“FOXTelecolombia is the place where you arrive with an idea and you leave with a finished product. We offer the best to local and international clients,” she added.
The Colombian production company is shooting El General, a series based on the book El General de las Mil Batallas, written by Julio Sánchez Cristo on the Colombian National Police general Óscar Naranjo. It will have 60 episodes and will be programmed as a three season series, starring Christian Meier.
In parallel, with the production service area, they are preparing a cinema production for the US, entirely in English, that is being shot in Bogota, Cartagena and Santa Marta.
