Guillermo “Memo” del Bosque leaves TelevisaUnivision after 30 years as producer, creator and content director for Telehit

After 30 years as producer, creator and content director for the Telehit channel, among other roles, Guillermo “Memo” del Bosque announced he was leaving TelevisaUnivision.

“Today, after 30 years, I say goodbye to my television home where I happily worked for great part of my professional career, I’ll always be grateful to Emilio Azcárraga for the life history we shared; to Bernardo Gómez for his caring, support and trust; to Alfonso de Angoitia for always supporting my projects,” Bosque posted on his social networks.

“To the wonderful public that supported the programs that I produced for so many years, to all the engineers and colleagues who are the heart of the company, to managers and great friends who shared with me this journey, to my production colleagues who enjoyed and suffered with me, and to many creative talent that I met during my tenure at Televisa,” he added.

He also thanked Ariana Azcárraga for her support in the creation of Telehit. “Thanks to the reporters and news media for many years of support. To my family for their unconditional love; to my children Luca, Luna and Coral who are my life’s inspiration, I love you all. To Vica for all her love and these wonderful years we’ve shared together, to Sean for his great affection and friendship. Thank you always,” he concluded.
