The deep web is the main topic of the new series with second screen Logout (13×30′) that Telehit will launch next May 5th at 10pm, produced in collaboration with the producing company Imagyx; and its producer, Carlos Murguía, said it was necessary to make an interactive product aligned with the needs of current TV consumption.”The series stems from the need to offer products that satisfy people’s new TV consumption behaviors and the company’s exercise with different second screen providers. It is a very interactive product with deep web as a main topic, because it is a place where illegal activities are sponsored. We want to show what is behind the networks and myths of what can and cannot be done there”, he explained. He gave details, such as the need they had to train the production and edition team: “Andrés Velásquez, specialist in the topic of deep web trained us and at the same time made interview capsules in which he covers the topic of cyber crimes, porn, financial fraud, among others. We started surfing to understand the programming language of this world, so that what people see is real and thought over in relation to raising awareness about the existence of this world”.He added that it was always conceived as a children´s story and aside from the version for Telehit, a censored one was made for possible transmission on free TV for Channel 5.
