Luis Fernández from Noticias Telemundo puts forth goals and says it is a luxury to have the support of NBC News, #1 worldwide

Luis Fernández, executive News VP at Telemundo Network, barely four months into his new position, assured they would be important, relevant and have great fame in the Hispanic market in the US.In an interview with PRODU in his glass office, which he ordered to be built for himself next to the newsroom with dozens of journalists, said that having the support of the might that NBC News represents was a dream come true. “We have absolute and great synergy with NBC News and that is a dream and a luxury for any journalist. To have the support and collaboration of the news service that is #1, not only in the US but worldwide, is huge luck we cannot waste,” he expressed.As everyone knows, Fernández arrived in the US at the start of 2000 as director of Plural Entertainment, that belongs to the Spanish group Prisa, to produce content. He toured all the Latin American market, co-producing with several companies and making the first original fiction series for Univision. He was also CEO of Promofilm USA before returning to Spain to preside RTVE, with all the support of Spanish political institutions. Afterwards, he assumed the role of president of Univision Studios and recently directed the operation and expansion of the Real Madrid in China.He announced anew research program the network´s primetime, a deep digital operation linked to broadcast and daily and permanent transformation that will start to be evidenced in the following twelve months.
