Viacom International Media Networks of the Americas announced today that Michelle Alban has joined the organization as VP of Communications.
In this new role, Alban will lead the development and execution of all internal and external communications strategies for VIMN of the Americas, which includes Latin America, U.S. Hispanic, and Canada.
She will report to Susana Sala, SVP of Human Resources & Administration for VIMN Americas and to VIMN Communication leads; Matt Baker, SVP of Communication and Kate Laverge, SVP of Communications and Culture. She will be based in the Miami office.
Alban brings 15 years of international communications, public affairs and media industry experience to the role. Her background includes leadership communications roles at NBCUniversal and Telemundo, as well as a deep understanding of digital media, research and analytics having started her career at Nielsen.
