CLEO y CUQUIN Family Kits

Televisa in hand with production house Ánima, have entered an agreement with Latin American licensing powerhouse Tycoon Enterprises to develop the consumer products and Brand extension programs for preschool animated show Cleo & Cuquin in Mexico and in Argentina.

The appointment has already born fruit for the group, as out of its Mexico headquarters Tycoon brought forth and negotiated a new Master Toy Agreement for Cleo & Cuquin with toy company Toy Plus, for global distribution of figurines, dolls, and playsets.

Cleo & Cuquin has a deep connection with generations of viewers who went to bed only after listening to the original show’s bed-time jingle!” – says Elias Fasja, Tycoon’s president and founder -. “The newly produced formats are just right for new generations of young viewers, who will enjoy its multi-platform presence and short-form deliveries. We have no doubt the new and beautifully crafted production will find its way to the heart of families across Latin America, and we look forward to the launch of our first lines of merchandise.”

Ángel Molinero, CEO at Ánima Spain adds: “We are thrilled to collaborate with Tycoon, we are confident that they will be a great partner to grow our licensing program and maximize brand opportunities that will help the development and expansion of Cleo & Cuquin in Mexico and Argentina.”

Every episode of Cleo & Cuquin (78×7’), targeted at preschoolers, tells how they tackle a big adventure as Cuquin’s mischief gets Cleo and her brothers and sisters into trouble, coming up for a solution the only way kids know how: by playing! It airs periodically on Televisa Channel 5 in Mexico and on Discovery Kids across Latin America and is also available on Netflix.

On YouTube Cleo & Cuquin has established itself as one of the fastest-growing preschool channels, with more than 5 million subscribers, its Spanish channel being the most successful.
