TVN Chile: We are going to launch an HD version of our international signal before the end of the year

Jornadas is an event that no one in the industry must miss because all cable operators and main players in the region are participating. That is the opinion of Alexis Piwonka, Business sub manager at TVN Chile. Piwonka told PRODU that TVN will launch its international channel in HD format before the end of the year, and also the news channel. Regarding contents, the executive highlighted the telenovelas that this year TVN placed on its grid: Matriarcas, Esa No Soy Yo and La Poseída, a period telenovela, set at the end of the 19th century in Chile. As for VOD, he said that in Chile they have agreements with Movistar and VTR, that they have contents of the channel on their platforms and are working very hard to develop their own platform through direct access or through operators.
