26 de septiembre de 2012

The Houston-based Hispanic agency Lopez Negrete Communications announced its appointment of Fernando Osuna as the firm’s new executive creative director. Alex Lopez Negrete, who held that position since the company was founded, will remain as president and CEO.“Our agency, like the entire industry, is going through a key moment in its development. And now that we’ve been in business almost three decades, the time is ripe to transfer the role of general creative director to one of our most talented creative thinkers, someone who understands the changed environment of new and complex media in which our creative product operates,” said Lopez Negrete, who will focus his energy on the agency’s continued development and growth.Mexico-born Osuna joined Lopez Negrete as creative director in 2010 to handle the Walmart account. During his professional career he has worked for DDB Mexico, TBWA, and Lowe and Partners Worldwide.“It’s an honor to be the new creative director of this wonderful agency, which so quickly became my home. This is a magnificent moment to be in this position. Never before has the Hispanic consumer been so important to our clients, which is why they are giving us the freedom and responsibility to find new creative ways to spur this consumer to take action,” Osuna said.
