Rivero: Se siente muy bien llevar algo del mercado hispano a todo EE UU

The production company, Cortez Brothers, based in Los Angeles, was nominated to the Imagen Awards 2015 for the commercial Spoon. The piece was developed together with ALMA to support AARP care services. Bernadette Rivero, President of the production company, spoke with PRODU about the importance of the award that acknowledges and celebrates Latin talent in the entertainment industry.”It feels very good to deliver something from the Hispanic market to the entire US. To show that we can create something special and moving in Hispanic advertising, that deserves to be in front of Hollywood´s eyes, it is an honor”, explained Rivero.The piece, directed by Esteban Sapir, works with the emotional fiber. Lack of dialogues and its emotional character turn it into a complex challenge. “We were lucky all the stars in the sky were aligned: a super creative and exciting idea; a very special director; production focused on emotions; and edition, music and final details all impeccably combined”, she said.She mentioned that currently “there is more emphasis on digital projects than in the last few years; on ideas that can live in any media, both on the Internet as well as on television. We think that now there is a greater need to create stories that move and captivate the audience, who live in a universe full of information, literally at their fingertips”.Cortez Brothers expects to continue making pieces with emotional, artistic and visual value, that draw audiences attention.
