Bettina Abascal, Momentum Reps Founder and Director has represented directors and production companies from the multicultural market for the past 15 years. “I can proudly represent both, the best directors in the market and the most prestigious production companies, such as Landia, Central Films, Cortez Brothers, Carbo Films, La Fabrica and 4 Letter Word” she expressed. “These professionals tried to see the world in a different way and thats what the directors do in each one of their projects.”Regarding the division between the Hispanic and the general market, she feels that today, this border has dissipated and Hispanic representation companies have more opportunities to present their directors to all sorts of markets. “As a Sales Representatives of bi-cultural directors, we are proud to be leaders in such a competitive market.” The talent they represent is diverse, but she highlighted that she is thrilled with the work carried out by the female directors she represents. “Movements such as Free The Bid have managed to have female talent considered in every direction proposal, paving the way for new opportunities for Hispanic women Directors.”They recently carried out a rebranding together with D’StoryMachine. “This change comes at a very important time for my company.
