The Easy Mondays production/distribution company and the Poster production company announce they have formed a strategic alliance to serve the U.S. market. Poster partner and Executive Producer Mariano Echarri said that “though it’s a market where we all know each other, we felt that in Buenos Aires we were a bit far from the action and were missing all that physical proximity gives you. When Asori told us about his new venture, it coincided with our idea of having a greater presence in that market. Perfect!” Asori Soto, founder and executive producer of Easy Mondays, noted that Poster is a great production company with amazing directors like the duo known as Plastico (Ale Ruax and Rama Martinez) and very special alliances like The Maestros in Mexico and Garlic in Spain. “In this new world we’re living in, these partnerships are more important than ever. It’s not just one production company covering half the world but significant collaborations with production companies that share the same vision and the same goals. Co-creation has never been more valuable, and that’s why collaborating with Poster fills us with energy. You work with people you hold in high regard and at the same time you give added value to clients every step of the way.” Soto said this stay-at-home time during the pandemic has been a very creative experience. “Not only has it allowed us to work on personal and professional projects we had set aside, but has enabled us to imagine what we want the future to be like. Together, we have planned the distribution of Rocanrol Cowboys by Plastico and the co-production of some episodes for our series Making Change. So you can see we’ve kept busy during this ‘break.’ And what better time could there be for building the future than when you’re resting?” Both companies are shooting projects remotely, Soto added. “With increasingly strong competition in terms of budgets, many productions already had entirely remote phases. Covid-19 has just accelerated a process that was underway and that otherwise would have taken five or ten years more.”
