Debbie Margolis-Horwitz from Kreative Kontent: We are integrating products to the stories in a very organic way

The producing company Kreative Kontent started 2015 with great projects. Debbie Margolis-Horwitz, president and executive producer of the company, spoke to PRODU. “The stories we tell nowadays have to be much more authentic to captivate an audience. I think that is why we are producing a combination between documentary and branded content, integrating products to the stories in a very organic way”.In April two of the company´s campaigns came out, one for Fresh from Florida and another one for Chase Bank, both directed by Fro Rojas. “We have been told that the campaigns were well received by the audience. The goal with Fresh from Florida was to increase knowledge about the brand and it increased in more than 50%, added Margolis.Another of their projects is the production of the new film by Fro Rojas. The film is an adaptation of the novel Finding Home, written by Maruchi Méndez. Currently they are in the pre-production phase.They are also joining forces with their team in the west coast to produce a virtual reality project. “We are very excited about working with this emerging technology. It is new and few people know it. We are passionate about creating immersive experiences,” she stated. According to Margolis, the contents they produce are changing.”What was filmed thinking about digital can end up in the movies or on TV, now that frontiers between platforms are much more flexible”. She also mentioned that their projects are a combination between the Hispanic and the general market, it all depends on the audience.
