Hispanic agencies will be present in the qualifying panel of the Cannes Lions Festival

Cannes Lions se celebrará del 13 al 24 de mayo en la ciudad de Cannes

The International Cannes Lions Festival recently announced that for their 62nd ceremony they will have a qualifying panel from the USA. This jury was selected through a rigorous process and will have the privilege of judging more than 37 advertising campaigns.Among the agencies and members of the jury announced up to this moment there are Hispanic figures such as: José Mollá, cofounder and executive creative director of La Comunidad, who will head the Film category; and Claudio Lima, creative VP from Bravo/Y&R Miami, in the Radio category.Mollá founded La Comunidad in the year 2000 together with his brother Joaquín. At the start of 2014, La Comunidad joined SapientNitro, which allowed them to broaden their offer in branding, digital, commercial and technological capabilities. Before opening La Comunidad, Mollá was creative director of Wieden+Kennedy in Portland, Oregon for five years. He also served as creative director of Ratto/BBDO.Lima has been creative VP of Bravo/Y&R since january 2013. From there he directs creative projects for brands like FEDEX LatAm, Dell Latin America, AT&T, Wendy’s, among others. Previously he was executive creative director in Ogilvy Brazil, where he worked with accounts such as Claro Telecom, Burger King, and for the Coke Zero division for the US Hispanic market. His trophies include 25 Cannes Lions, among many other acknowledgements.Cannes Lions will take place between may 13th and 24th in the French city of Cannes.
