Hispanicize announces that Jorge Bernal and Julissa Bermúdez will be the hosts of the 2016 Tecla Awards

Hispanicize 2016 and DiMe Media reported Tuesday March 15th that the second edition of the Tecla Awards will be chaired by the star of Telemundo, Jorge Bernal and the actress Julissa Bermúdez.The awards ceremony will be held on April 7th at the Icon on Miami Beach, during Hispanicize Week 2016. The event is sponsored by Telemundo and DiMe Media.Bernal is the host of the program Suelta la sopa and La voz kids. Bermúdez is an outstanding actress and personality of the Latina TV in the U.S. and ambassador of several brands that are aimed at Hispanic millennials. Together, they will guide an ensamble of Latino presenters, digital media and TV stars. “The star power of these wonderful co-hosts, together with a line-up of award presenters and the digital creators that are about to be unveiled as finalists of this years Tecla Awards will create an incredibly fun and satisfying awards show for the U.S. Hispanic marketplace” said Cristy Clavijo-Kish, DiMe Media Co-CEO and Tecla Awards Chair.Hispanicize 2016 Week features more than 220 speakers, more than 100 sessions, workshops, chats and keynotes. This edition also features the first annual DiMe Summit, the third annual Positive Impact Awards gala, and the first annual Diversity Tech Showcase.
