LatinWorks puts an accent on baseball in its latest campaign for the MLB

The first commercial in Spanish for the Major League Baseball (MLB) 2016 season was launched last Sunday, April 3rd on ESPN Sports and was made by LatinWorks. The campaign is called Aquí and this spot is titled {Ponle acento;www.produ.com/publicidad/videos/index.html?Noti=10781}. The video explores Latino’s passion for the sport, which they express in and out of the stadium.Aquí is the most robust marketing effort that the MLB has made until now to penetrate the Latino market in the U.S. The idea is to show the powerful influence Latino players have in baseball, while they celebrate the relation between the sport and Hispanic culture.Gabriel García was the Executive Creative Director responsible for the idea. He guided the team for the development of the campaign. Morris Dávila, Keith Etter and Alberto Calva took part as Assistant Creative Directors; Paul Carpenter as Junior Copywriter; Scott Radigk and Jillian English, as Producers; Chuy Hernández as TV Producer and Michael McLoughlin as Radio Producer. The production company that shot the commercial was Nunchaku, Directed by Clara Aranovich. As the season unfolds, they will launch new commercials about the impact that Latino players have on baseball. The campaign will be rolled on TV, the Internet and social networks.
