The Founder and CEO of Global Brain, Natalia Vega-Berry, is one of the organizers of the global video competition Film4Climate. The award is an initiative of Connect4Climate, a World Bank Group global program for communications regarding climate change. Until now, they have received 198 pieces from 77 countries worldwide. “The next five years are key in order to make progress in actions on climate change around the world, and many international events in which Connect4Climate is involved, seek to encourage countries to undertake ambitious climate actions. That’s why we decided to launch a competition on climate change focused on convincing young people: Film4Climate invites all the aspiring Filmmakers worldwide to express their vision of a sustainable future, through a short film or video on climate actions” said Vega-Berry. For the CEO of Global Brain, the advertising industry plays a fundamental role in raising awareness on the problems related with climate change and the environment. “Sellers and advertisers who are respectful with the ecosystem have to be fully aware of the urgency of climate change and be sensitive with environment topics, and at the same time realize their potential to influence public opinion. They must also pay special attention to younger generations” he said to conclude.
