Pipe Ybarra, director de Whiskey

Whiskey filmed the new Back to School campaign for Walmart together with Lopez Negrete Communications. The spots were released this Monday 11th. Pipe Ybarra, commercial’s director talked about the experience. “We filmed in Los Angeles, at a beautiful location. It was a school built in the thirties, with two lovely characters: a 6 years old girl and a 11 years old boy. Being a dad has given me some experience with kids that allows me to communicate very well with them and is always fun doing this type of projects” Ybarra said. “This campaign was initially planned for the Hispanic market, but it turned out very neutral and the client is thinking of launching it for the general market.” For Ybarra it was a good work experience with Federico Cantini. “He is a great photographer with whom I always wanted to work with and everything turned out perfect. Manuel Villegas – Lopez Negrete Creative Director- also was a great part of the team in the set. He is not only very creative; he is also very respectful but with great contributions” he added. Recently Ybarra filmed campaigns in Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia and Panama. “Mostly it all happens thanks to Whiskey, we do spots in many countries and what is interesting is that you film almost as if you were at home, because it’s your team, your photographers, your friends, but in another country.” Currently the company is very excited with Whiskey Contents. “We’re several partners trained in the school of fiction, and this path doesn’t go against advertising.”
