Stanford University and Univision announce partnership for new business project to analyze Latino businesses

La encuesta tiene como propósito hacer uso de la actual base de datos de capacidad empresarial latina de Stanford

On January 22nd, Univision Communications announced that will work with the Latino Business Project at Stanford University (SLEI) to conduct the first comprehensive survey of Hispanic-owned businesses in the US that will improve understanding of this market for identifying areas of growth.According to the research by SLEI, there are more than four million Hispanic-owned businesses in North America, and most are small family or single owner businesses with an opportunity to grow more than twice the rate of all firms in the country. In addition, Hispanics are twice as likely to open a small business than non-Hispanics, and their businesses contribute almost US $ 500 million in revenue to the national economy, a sum that is steadily increasing.The survey aims to use the current database Latino entrepreneurship of Stanford, which includes the names of more than 1.4 million Latino business owners with the intention of determining what factors help support the growth of businesses and promote new Latino-owned businesses to make them more productive.”As a mission-driven company dedicated to inform, entertain, empower and protect the interests of Hispanics in the US, we will expand our support for Hispanic business owners in 2015,” Roberto Llamas said, executive VP of Human Resources and Community Empowerment of UCI.To participate in the survey click {here;https://stanford.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5oKDPQfTqoUgQeh}.
