Sylvain Chevalier of Havas Media: We want to be a driving force of change to build the ideal agency in 18 months

For second time, Sylvain Chevalier, CEO at Havas Media Mexico will be a juror at the Festival of Media LatAm 2015. He said that expectations are on measurable cases and, internally, he pointed out, that the challenge is becoming the agency they want to be in 18 months. “It’s always inspiring and rewarding to be a festival juror. Particularly, in this occasion I want to see online cases, how digital and different contact points are creating campaigns with measurable and specific results” he said. Regarding the agency, Chevalier said: “We are rethinking the whole business and our goal is building the agency we want to be in 18 months, and to do so we are performing relevant structural changes in operations, and in areas such as mobile, programmatic, social networks. Also we’re reconsidering the intimate and close relation needed with the client. More and more media buying compels to be involved in understanding the client business, leverage that requests not only execution, but results. We want to be the driving force of change.” Lastly, he said that clients are experiencing anxiety and confusion, that’s why: “we have to be mediators to help them find clarity about where to head next. Nowadays the demand for experience must be higher.”
