El iPad ha desplazado a marcas como McDonalds’s, Toys R Us, Nickelodeon e incluso Disney

In the digital age, technology has become the leader of new trends. This has been evident not only in the increasing technological dependence on adults, but also in the marketing preferences of children. According to a recent study conducted in the US by the market research firm, Smarty Pants, the Apple iPad is the favorite brand of children between 6 and 12 years. To accomplish this report, Smarty Pants interviewed 6,600 parents and children between 6 and 12 years and put under the microscope 256 marks. Research reveals that the imposing company of the apple, has moved traditionally successful brands among children, such as McDonald’s, Toys R Us, Nickelodeon and even Disney, who are relegated to lower positions in the list.Along with the iPad, the ten most popular brands of children are Hershey’s, Oreo, M & M’s, Doritos, Cheetos, Skittles, Disney and YouTube. “It seems that tablets have come to the lives of children to stay,” Wynne Tyree, president of Smarty Pants, said. The rise of the iPad in the list of favorite brands of children has occurred rapidly. In 2010 the famous Apple tablet occupied the 109th position in the ranking of Smarty Pants, and only a year later climbed to number 25. Last year, it managed to hold on to eighth place in the list, taking the top today.
