Univision Contigo launches new campaign to support the training of Hispanic students

La campaña inició el pasado 2 de febrero en las estaciones locales de radio y televisión de UCI

¡Estudia, hay dinero!, is the name of the new community initiative of Univision Communications (UCI) released on multiple platforms to generate awareness among Hispanic students in the secondary level and their families seeking more choices and financial aid to pay for higher studies to their children.The campaign began on February 2 in local radio and television stations of UCI, and other digital platforms.”The federal student aid I received after completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) provided the financial support to graduate from Fordham University. I am very proud that through Univision Contigo, we are educating others in our community about the resources available to meet their own aspirations” Jessica Rodriguez, VP and executive director of Market at Univision, said.A survey by the Pew Research Center, which analyzed data from the US Census Bureau indicates that the rate of high school graduation rate and college entrance among Hispanics are the highest in history.However, the lack of awareness among students about the resources available, although the country has a great source of federal student aid, persists.
